Passion project: Dance.

Passion Project: DANCE!!!

WHAT IS DANCE?
Dance is a sport that includes moving rhythmically  to music following usually a set sequence of steps. You can dance alone or with a group. There are lot’s of different types of dance such as, ballet, which is a slower more technical  dance. Jazz which is like ballet but a bit more faster, groovy and  upbeat. Then there’s tap, tap is and exciting form of dance where dancers wear special shoes with equipped with metal taps. Tap dancers use their feet like drums to create rhythmic patterns and timely beats, hip hop is a dance were dancers let loose and don’t worry too much about their technique  and just dance to upbeat hip hop music.  modern dance is a dance style that rejects many of the strict rules of classical ballet. AND are just the main dances , there are still tons more .

WHY DO PEOPLE CHOOSE TO DANCE!!!
The reason why i think people dance is because the love it and  dance is a way of telling people a story but by your moves and actions instead of talking. You can dance when you feel down and it can cheer you. Or if you’re a really fidgety and energetic (like me)  you  can dance for a while and it will tire  you out.

WHAT WOULD IT TAKE TO BE A DANCER!!!
It takes a lot of patience and responsibility to be a dancer. You have to have patience to learn new skills because you're not going to get them first try.
Commitment is a big part of dance you learn a recital routine and then let your team down by QUITTING. To be a dancer you have to be willing to do stretches that your teaching has told you to do because that will help you to get better.

Why does stretching help you get better at dancing?
From what i found out stretching helps tremendously stretching  can help lower the risk of injuries such as ankle sprains or breaks if the foot isn’t stretched properly. More importantly if you haven’t stretched your back you can seriously hurt it and possibly break it. streching can also help with your hitch-kicks, pirouettes, splits and a lot more.
